Reese is 2 Months

I can't believe our sweet baby girl is 2 months old!  She is so alert and always wants to be able to see what is going on.  She is such a happy baby and we are so in love!
-she weights 12oz
-22 1/2 inches long
-sleeping a good five hour stretch..eat...three or two hour stretch...eat...one hour...awake
-she started smiling, a smile that makes her eyes light up and makes your heart melt.
-she loves watching her Baby Praise dvd in the morning, it's our worship time.
-telling stories is her newest trick, if I only knew what they were about.
-she is so aware of her surroundings and always wants Mommy near by.
I hope the next month will go more slowly, but chances are it will go by even faster.

Happy Anniversary!!

Today marks a special day in the lifes of Mr. and Mrs. McCamey; one year of marriage!  I remember it like yesterday...
The sound of the waves crashing upon the shore, the salty smell in the air, the warm sun going down as the ocean sparkled, the most handsome man standing in front of all our family and friends, my heart racing with excitment, staring into his eyes and kissing his lips as "I DO" faded in the background!  "I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU HUSBAND AND WIFE!!"

Mr. and Mrs. McCamey

I will always remember our first year of marriage!  A year we became one, moved into a beautiful home and were blessed with our daughter, Reese Madison McCamey.

Reese is 1 Month

Dear Reese,

You are growing way to fast please slow down!!  Mommy can't believe that one month has flown by already, where does the time go? There are a few things that are now fresh in my mind about having a newborn that I may have forgotten but you have reminded me...
How often you need your fingernails clipped
The amount of dirty laundry you can produce in a day
The feeling that I may never sleep through the night again
Slippery when wet
Your constantly changing facial expressions
Your gassy grins that make it all worth it!!
Oh Mommy loves you to pieces and is trying so hard to absorb every min with you because I know another month is going to fly by!

Love, Mommy

An Eggstra Special Easter

Happy Easter!!  Reese had a fun first Easter even though she didn't get to go on an egg hunt this year!  Mama and Papa Mc came to stay with us for the weekend and played Easter Bunny!  Take a look...

She was worn out after all those pictures!

Family Photo Shoot

Luke and I started a tradition when we moved to Austin to take our family photo in the bluebonnets.  Here in Texas we all get excited when we start to see bluebonnets on the sides of the highway because before you can blink they are gone.
Our 2010 bluebonnet pictures...

In 2011 we were in a drought and didn't get much rain so no bluebonnets this year. :(  To our surprise our 2012 bluebonnet pictures included an addition to our family,
Reese Madison McCamey!

Reese was only one weeks old and Mommy still looked like a saggy elephant but we had to stick to our tradition and capture our new family in the beautiful bluebonnets!!

Our Family

She already has Daddy wrapped around her tiny finger!
Mommy is in love!
Our Family of Three!
This beautiful face is the reason I don't get anything done.  I just sit and hold her for hours, not wanting to miss anything.  She is beautiful and healthy and so very loved.

Feeling Blessed

There are few moments in this life when you feel the overwhelming love from the one above.  We were so blessed to experience this...
On Sunday March 18th at 3:06 A.M. we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl!!

Introducing
ReeseMadisonMcCamey
I imagine that only moments before this picture was taken she was in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father sharing a moment that as parents we cherish with our children.  The spirit that radiates from this sweet baby is beyond words.  We are so blessed to have her in our home to share this special part of her life.  I feel truly blessed to be a mother.  I feel overwhelming love for our sweet Reese.  Words cannot express my gratitude for her.
She came very quickly after about 3 hours of labor she was here weighing 8 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.  We are home and loving every minute we spend with her.
