It's Summer

It is officially summer and Mommy got me all ready with my new shades!  Don't I look cool!

Reese is 3 Months

It seems like just yesterday when Daddy and Mommy got to meet you!  You are a fast growing girl weighing in at 14 pounds and getting taller by the day!  You look just like your Daddy and have Mommy's long legs.  You are beautiful and we are so much in love!  When we take you out everyone tells us what a good baby you are, because as long as Mommy is in sight you are content as can be.

We just love our play dates with the Moutons!  Watching these two grow has been so much fun!  One day they will be running around with each other but for now they just smile, cry and cooo!

Mommy can't stop looking through her lense at you, trying to capture every move you make!  You are so adorable and let mommy put you anywhere as the flashes go off.  The other day I was putting in a load of laundry and this bucket is what holds all my cleaning supplies.  I ran to get the camera and you to do a mini photo shoot.  Mommy loves you to pieces and thanks you for letting me capture "My Sunshine" as you grow.  One day you will thank me!!

Expressions

From birth Reese has always been very expressive!  The looks she gives us are so adorable!

Already at 2 months she is full of personality and very good at telling us what she is feeling be it...hungry, sleepy, scared, excited, sad or happy!  Mommy and Daddy just love you to pieces and enjoy watching you grow into such an amazing and beautiful little girl!

Celebrating Life's Moments...

I have pondered for a while what to name this blog...thinking of all the words that start with M because I am crazy like that.  It came to me early yesterday morning.  Normally I am not awake at 3 am but Reese has taught me I can be up at any hour when I hear her hungry whimper in the middle of my dreams.  I sit there staring down at my beautiful child and my brain goes crazy designing each room in our home, planning Reese's first birthday, thanking God for my daughter and what to name our family blog...Who would have ever thought that breastfeeding would lead to so many great ideas!

I started to blog when I found out we were getting this amazing gift from God...Baby McCamey...since all my family and friends live far I wanted a way to make them feel like they lived next door.  I wanted them to be able to read the next chapter.  A chapter filled with so much excitement, love and wonder!!

When I fell in love with Luke, that very moment I took a picture of him, an emotional snapshot, that I will carry with me forever.  To this day I feel so very lucky, the man I fell in love with still resembles that snapshot!  Many of our life’s moments don’t just happen in our mind or in our soul.  They happen while holding our children in the middle of the night, or watching the waves crash upon the shore, or around our table, watching the people we love feel nourished in all sorts of ways.
